Beauty can be accidental, incidental, intrisic or designed. Beauty is that aspect which gives pleasure to the mind or senses and is associated with such properties as harmony of form or color, excellence of artistry, truthfulness, and originality. In photography, one is expected to capture truth, or a form of it. Photos capture a moment as it happened, and occasionally those moments -- intentional or not -- capture beauty as well. Within the whole of the image, within the sum of its parts, are hidden the beauty and the truth.
