I was back in NY visiting some friends and walking about my old neighborhood. I spotted these huge bursts of color inside of this shoe boutique-had to go in. Their seating areas were these ottomans made by a Northern European design company. Little pillows were constructed out of many small, brightly colored pieces of leather and sewn together-much like a quilt. To say that these ottomans were comfortable would be an understatement. I wonder what it would be like to sleep on one.
