i've always reset myself in the shower. without jewelry or makeup or clothing, i'm just me, standing underneath a stream of hot water, watching long strands of hair snake down the drain with invisible skin cells and city grime. in the shower i am blissfully alone, and the world seems brand-new and okay, if only for a moment. i'm impressed with these photos, impressed that these people chose to share that with the world.
