After finishing art college in 1971, a friend and I drove in his van from Toronto to the most easterly point in Newfoundland (Cape Spear), then turned around and drove all the way back across Canada to the west coast of Vancouver Island; then returned home to Toronto -- all in 8 weeks. I took this picture from the van somewhere on the Trans Canada Highway in British Columbia.
