Arcosanti is an urban laboratory in the heart of the Arizona desert. Paolo Soleri and his students are discovering how we can increase urban density as well as our quality of life. They finance all of this by selling very cool bells that they make on site. You can see them hanging in the window.

You can spend the night, have a meal at their cafe (quite possibly the best granola ever), take a dip in their pool, hang out in their library or music room, or take a guided tour with one of Soleri's students.
