adventures in reflective surfaces

For Lease
I was walking down the street last fall and noticed this shop was newly empty. The sun was in the right spot. I thought the view of the empty shop with myself reflected in the window was a good symbol of how the fall feels, the summer is over, vegetation is gone and we look forward to more emptiness before the spring. This was also after 9/11 so the feeling of loss and alienation was also present which I think was captured by the fact that the reflection is weak and gets lost in the shop at different spots.
