adventures in reflective surfaces
Shooting snow flakes
The morning of January the 8th and it's snowing in London, this the view from my office window of flurries falling across my partial reflection. At the end of the day there was a good 1.5 to 2 inches of snow, and leaving the office on my scooter I fell off as it lost grip on the slipper slope to the road! The next day (wonderfully bright and clear the way it always is after a snow fall) I walked in, although by then the roads were gritted and the pavements had become sheets of ice. But even if it only lasts a day or two, snow seems to put a bigger smile on the population than the sun does! Snowmen were appearing outside offices and people were throwing snowballs and standing under trees and shaking them :-D
