adventures in reflective surfaces
Shooting Victim
Last April I spent a day with the photographer of a large US newspaper. We attended two shooting scenes and he gave me a print of one the photos captured that day. It hangs on my wall and each morning when I get out of bed I see my reflection in the glass, the shooting victim's pained face trapped inside my torso, surrounded by the sunlight streaming through my window. I don't know if he is still alive.
