I ran away from my abusive home to live with my friend Christopher Honey in Florida. This photo was taken while Christopher and I were driving back to the Midwest to pick up my belongings. This entire period of my life was an awakening. I dyed my hair red, expressed myself openly, and lived my own life on my own terms. The car is clearly in motion and so was my life.
