I was charmed beyond belief when I came upon this movie poster in the Paris metro.

I don't know if the spray-paint wielding commentator was a Parisienne... but I like to think it was. I immediately felt more connected to the French.

And I swear I'm in there. See? Right next to his ear... joining those ghostie-heads in the background... Anyway, I think it qualifies as self-portraiture by virtue of its commentary alone. It definitely speaks for me.
