adventures in reflective surfaces
Multi-Me
This picture was taken during a flying visit to the Reichstag in Berlin.
The tour takes you up a spiral winding path inside the modern glass cupola designed by the British architect Sir Norman Foster.
Vast expanses of glass have been introduced to flood it with light. The new dome-like construction in the roof, which was included on the insistence of the German parliament, acts as an illuminating device for the debating chamber. To help refract the light is a conical mirror array. I suddenly found myself looking at multiple reflections of myself.
