Posing nude outside in the UK is fraught with difficulties, the cold being the least of them. Our island is so crowded there are scarcely any isolated places left.

I chose to take this picture in local woodland and had to go deep into the wood to find somewhere far from a path. I was lucky enough to find this bent and twisted tree which I think looks quite good in the picture.

I noticed that a number of the submissions to the project are in B & W and sure enough there is a setting to do this on my camera, something else I've learnt!
