Sutton Road Bridge
Wrapped in a tartan blanket on my mum's knee on the way to hospital we drove over this bridge when I was 3 years old. The image remains but little else of that time when I was suffering yet another ear infection so bad, I'm told, that I nearly died. It had rained suddenly before I took this shot and the self portrait mirrored in the rusty wet footplate kind of strikes a chord as the bridge did to me as I drove home.
