i was walking home from an anti-war protest (that worked great!) in washington square. in a fur store window on houston st are barbie dolls wearing tiny sample furs. one of these barbie fur models is holding and american flag. one is wearing a camoflage fur. it struck me how tragically american a barbie in a fur is. you can see my reflection, albeit faint in the store window.
