I was flying from "back home" Victoria, BC (or was it Vancouver?) to my current home in Toronto, ON (both in Canada). The aircraft was an Airbus - I think and A-330, but maybe a flavour of A-310. With a fluttering of my puppy dog eyes I was upgraded to business class. (I think - I took two trips to BC that winter, so I may be getting the flights mixed up).
