This mirror was a present to my wife, which subsquently broke by accident. I thought of playing with the split images of one that was shattered and one that was not, how I feel on occasion when my past (damaged, broken, shattered) gets the better of my present (smooth, stable, secure), though my present is the foundation of who I am lately.
