Four days before Christmas, on vacation, I visited what is known as the Malacanang (President's residence in my country) of the North, built for the Marcoses when they were in power. I thought of all the parties they have hosted in that room, lavish I bet. I took the shot from the balcony outside the hall and overlooking Paoay lake. I was only actually thinking of getting myself in the shot as my photo travels have all but me. Didn't think I would get in 1 shot 2 places at the same time and a whole lot of spirit and history in between.
