On January 15, 2004 I had LASIK surgery done on both of my eyes to eliminate the need to wear glasses. Here is myself in the bathroom at the laser surgeon's office, about an hour before the procedure. I had been given Valium, and my pupils were starting to expand after receiving dilation drops. I was feeling fuzzy on several different levels.
