The silver ball is hanging on a single branch of our Christmas tree that fell off and looked so sad that we couldn't throw it away. Instead, we stuck it in a glass and put a single ornament on it, after which it bore a striking resemblance to the tree from A Charlie Brown Christmas. I like that you can see our entire living room reflected in the silver ball, as well as the sad branches of the "tree" reflected in the top.
