This is the only surviving picture from a trip to Orlando on September of 2003 when my husband, and I visited his brother and his brother's partner. Roaming through their house taking pictures, I saw this mirror in the bathroom. As I Iooked at my reflection, I recalled the refrain of a Colombian song I heard when I was a girl: "Tú lo que quieres es que me coma el tigre, que me coma el tigre..." --What you want is that the tiger eats me up, eats me up. Then I took this picture of myself being eaten by the tiger. Unfortunately the visit turned sour and since then neither my brother in law or his partner have talked to us despite our attempts to reach out to them. I was eaten by the tiger after all!
