Attended a 30th birthday party for a friend at a French restaurant in La Jolla, down by the Cove, near the beach.Had a blast eating salmon, drinking wine and shooting photos of the assembled friends of the birthday girl. It was a weeknight and tomorrow was a workday for me but evidently a few of the revelers decided at midnight to go dancing but I declined (I had been out late the previous night at a concert).I had a 10-block walk to my parked car and had scoped out the stores on the way to the restaurant, noting the Pez dispensers with the jewel-encrusted heads(!) and this mirror of love.So here I am in all my mirror project glory, flouting a stubbled growth of chin hair and smiling like a guy who hasn't seen a full night's sleep in a few days and realizing that I was heading to another concert the next night!
