Monocyte Chronicle
I'd just finished a visit with my Doctor. Lupus stinks - that's for sure. She informed me that my previously high white count is down and now my monocytes are up. I just can't seem to get it right.
Of course I had to stop to use the bathroom, and was planning a mirror shot where I'd say something profound about how my disease doesn't define who I am....blah, blah, blah.
And then the toilet overflowed and sent me digging through the closet looking for a plunger. I've just plunged. So here I am, full of strange monocytes, standing in a half inch of toilet water, looking forward to telling the nurses there's mess in the bathroom.C'est la vie.
