burma is unbelievable and undescribable. run by a military government who messes up and disrupted by drug trade and rebels fighting for independence the people are left to their fate.

being there i did not see any big brand, except for coca cola, sprite, fanta, nivea and colgate, all imported from thailand. there is no electricity, except for those who can affort a generator. the network is there, the government simply does not supply. so people have to burn candles.

keng tung province has about 300000 inhabitants, but no newspaper. burma, about 45 million inhabitants, has only 2 tv channels broadcasting from 4 - 10 pm daily.
