adventures in reflective surfaces
the streets of luang prabang

it took me 8 days to travel from keng tung to luang prabang. i had to go via thailand, to pick up my passport at the burmese immigration and there is no crossing between burma and lao open for foreigners.
the journey included different northern lao towns and a boat trip of 2 days. the captain let me stay in his village. many chicken and pigs running around, eating brown sticky rice and drinking the local whisky. unforgettable!
luang prabang is an unesco listed temple town but came as an anti climax after keng tung.
