Mom's front hall
English Walnut Mirror
I remember the antique store on 5th Avenue, and the day my mom bought this English walnut mirror.
We were always struggling, dad sometimes had three jobs and there was very little money for any luxuries. My mom always had a little pin money, and it was used to buy special items, beyond the basics.
It's good for the heart.
The mirror has been dragged all over the country and it stands as reminder of times that were harder. They weren't bad and they held alot of lessons. The one aspect that stands out in my mind is that I never heard anyone whining about their situation.
I hate whiners.
