adventures in reflective surfaces
Helmetically Sealed
I took this picture while riding on the back of my boyfriend's ancient Yamaha. Reflected in his helmet are my daughter and a friend of ours, riding on said friend's new $35,000 Harley.
We were taking a day-trip to Anacortes to sightsee and buy some fresh shrimp. While we were at the marina, we drooled over some of the obscenely large pleasure boats.
Our friend saw one particular behemouth he especially liked, which sported a price tag of 1.8 million smackers. He didn't even blink as he pulled out his cell phone to call the broker. "I'll bet they'll take a million-five," he casually remarked.
Must be nice.
