the fort san, in fort qu'appelle, saskatchewan, used to be the sanitorium for tb patients. now, it is slated to destruction. my grandfather was a doctor at the san and my mother grew up there. walking around with my family i spotted this window, with rows of bottles in behind it. only after looking at the result did i realize that the image of me, reflected in the window, qualified this picture for "the mirror project."
