After the Storm
Hurricane Isabel left us with enough destroyed trees and vegetation--including one tree through the side of the house and another that flattened a car--to require three months and 16 truckloads to remove. We also lost electricity for two weeks. Toward the end of that time, I had a business trip to Baltimore, where I found, looking in the Holiday Inn mirror, that I'd become far more depressed by the hurricane and its aftermath than I'd realized.
