adventures in reflective surfaces
Tea by the Sea
This photograph was taken on the last day of my month long journey in Australia and New Zealand, as documented in my travelogue. I was at a seaside cafe, having lunch with my travel companions. I was sad knowing I would be leaving soon for the real world, but happy and grateful for the time spent exploring and learning new things. I'd been photographing the objects at the table, and the people, fascinated with every detail of my last leisurely meal in New Zealand. I am always the one behind the camera, never the one in the photo. I realized I could take a photo of myself in the reflective surface of my companion's tea pot. So here is my photo, Tea by the Sea.
