Fish and Grandma's Mirror
Recently in Chicago, I interited this mirror from my mother, who'd found it among my Grandmother's possessions when she died last August. It's all I want in a mirror: enough to see to braid my hair, but not big enough to be distracting. It finally made it out with me to California, and, in a fit of productivity today (I also rearranged my furniture), I nailed it to the wall.Next to it is a red fish magnet on this weird outcropping in my wall that I've never understood. But hey, it holds magnets, and the red of the fish matches my sheets and the back of my door. Eclectic, but it works.
