The Nikigator is a work by Niki de Saint Phalle. It is a large, fanciful, alligator-like creature made of polyurethane foam, resin, tumbled stones, ceramics, mirrors, and seemingly whatever else she could find. It was designed to be climbed on, which many children (and a few adults ;)) take full advantage of. This photo was taken on the right side, behind Nikigator's first set of legs. No, I was not climbing on the statue at the time ;)
