LADIES ROOM AT THE HISTORIC AZTEC HOTEL
I visited the Historic Aztec Hotel in Monrovia,CA and was fascinated by the slightly shabbiness of it all. The Spanish cum Morroccan cum Atzechian pre-WW II design was muted by age and presided over by John, the serene desk clerk, a bevy of friendly caged birds, and totally cool hotel residents made up of seniors and slackers.
My self-portrait was self-taken in the lobby area Ladies Room decorated with a mural of white doves and a toga-wearing image of the hotel's owner. Great place!
