This is my self-portrait from my sophomore year of college at ASU. I was 20 years old and had been living here in Arizona for a year. This image reminds me that I was all alone out here. I had no friends out here, because I didnt grow up here, and even though I was a full time student at ASU, I didnt live on campus and I worked full time. I left friends in California when my Dad lost his job and he and my Mom moved to Arizona because he took a new job. They told me I could move to Arizona and go to school at ASU, or I could get $2000 and swift kick in the ass out the door for good luck. At the time when I took this picture, I was wishing Id taken the money.
