Late afternoon Thanksgiving Day... after family members headed home and the leftovers were stuffed into the fridge... I escaped to my teenage-favorite-place... the beach. I love how this picture shows the depth and texture and colors of the sky before sunset -- even though it was taken in the back window of my dad's Jeep!
