I spent this past semester living in Chicago. I quickly realized the important role public transportation would play in my life: it effected my schedule and it gave me an opportunity to nap or read or study and in the winter it was an escape from walking blocks in the cold. But most importantly it gave me an opportunity to see the city and the people who live there.
