this was taken on the 4th of july last year. it was hot and i had the evening to myself so i took my camera and went to watch fireworks at a park nearby. there was a hot air balloon festival and mini-carnival. lots of visual stimulation and no one to talk to made it a very meditative evening. i was shooting the lights spinning and the carousel stopped and i was framed in the mirror. i love how it's darkly festive. i also like how it looks like a monkey face with me in the mouth.
