This is a restaurant on 14th Street that I spotted on the way home after work.

The significance is that the first time I visited New York, I had, let's call it an encounter with someone at the hostel who asked what my ethnic background was. When I told him I'm biracial, he responded by moaning, "Mmmmmmm...cafe con leche! ('coffee with milk' in Spanish)" This has become a long-running joke with my best friend Fang.
