adventures in reflective surfaces
Wedding
Not ours.
We went to celebrate our friends' wedding at a 1604 Jacobean house way out in the countryside. We felt silly in suits and posh frocks, but the attire fitted the occasion.
By the front door, there was a staircase, decorated on one side with framed 1920's golfing posters, and on the other side, a huge tarnished mirror.
I grabbed this picture of P and I late in the evening, on our way out to a waiting taxi, which would drag us through the dark Surrey country lanes to a hotel bed the consistency of marshmallows.
I like the way you can see through P's head, and I'm pulling a stupid face. Pretty typical of us.
