Last summer my family and I took a wonderful three week trip from New York to California and back again. I took this picture somewhere in Kansas on the way back. By then I was a bit bored. But that night there was the most incredible and terrifying thunder storm that we had to just keep driving through because...well, it was Kansas and there was no way to go but straight ahead.
