adventures in reflective surfaces
girl in the window
I took the picture in order to illustrate a journal entry which reads as follows;
Wednesday 27th Feb. 2002
We shall not cease from
exploration
And the end of all our
exploring
Will be to arrive where we
started
And know the place for the
first time.
-T.S.Eliot, Little Gidding
Listening to Nick Drake, feeling the blues and pissed off that I can not play my guitar i'm falling in and out of time. Dim light inside, black night outside and looking through the window I can see a faint reflection of a girl. I think she's trying to catch my eye, looking in at me whenever I turn in her direction. But I'm not falling for that trick so I'll look instead to the light spilling from the windows of rooms in the dark building behind her eyes.
