I was with my husband and a friend of ours. I was drawn to this Memorial for the way reflections intermingled with the etched faces on the marble. I saw myself amongst the Veterans and was moved; it could have been anyone that fought, and possibly lost their life. It struck me that the current generation is one that has not really known a draft or fought a major war. The memorial was quite haunting.
