Well...what to say about this ? I started my phase of what I aggrandizingly called "experimental photography", inspired by Man Ray. As I've always been my favourite model (keeps me from getting ridiculed for my whacky angles and compositions) I set up the camera on a tripod with a long air-pump-type-cable-release doobry, positioned myself, and hit the release with my foot. voila'. made an obvious mistake in the focus (I set the camera up to be focussed on the wall, not taking into account that my face's reflection would be further away, i.e. the distance to the wall + the distance between face and mirror) but never mind...I'm still happy with this.
