I was in Washington, DC for the Stephen Sondheim Celebration at the Kennedy Center, seeing the musical Company. That show has always had a particular appeal to me, since it's about a man -- Robert -- who finds himself on the outside of relationships looking in and constantly questions on which side he belongs.The poster for the show, a bit of which can be seen here, shows a single male wedding cake figure set apart from several bridal figures. That's me, peeking over Cake Bobby's left shoulder, reflected in the glass of the Kennedy Center marquee.
