adventures in reflective surfaces
Cold
Looking up at a thermometer inside an old Japanese Inn. It was beautiful and antique-packed, but the walls were thin and all the heat sources were local. So I could see my breath in the bathroom and I could see my breath when I wasn't sitting next to the propane-gas burning space heater provided in my 100+ year old room. I don't think I've ever been so bundled up indoors. Fortunately they had this mirrored thermometer hanging in the hallway so I could see exactly how cold it was that day.
