Shuttlecock, Mylar, and Me: Pausing to Reflect
Late lunch, under a hot July sun.
Strolling through the sculpture garden of the Nelson Gallery, I met a lovely family from Nigeria, who very kindly allowed me to borrow three mylar balloons. (I also later spoke with a woman and her two teenaged daughters, who watched the shoot with great interest.) The breeze proved a bit of a problem, but of the shots taken, this one best captures the moment.
