I had wanted to go to the zoo last week with my son, Daryl, when he was in the city with me but he felt he was too old to visit the zoo. How can you be too old to visit the zoo! I guess only if you are twelve--going on sixteen. But as Paul Simon once said "Something tells me it's all happening at the zoo." And it was: the trees were flowering, the animals were playing, and the children (thousands of them) were laughing.
