adventures in reflective surfaces
down the drain
I had about fifteen minutes of battery time left on the work camera, so took it for a walk at lunchtime to drain the rest of the power. In historic Golden Cross (dating back to 1100s) some of the historic paving slabs were peeled back to reveal a drain flooded with very clear, flowing water. I caught a glimpse of white movement inside and for a moment thought I'd seen some sort of albino sewer fish, but it was only a bit of plastic bag, caught on something, wiggling away in the black space under my reflection.
