adventures in reflective surfaces

I I just took a month-long, cross country bus trip from New York to Southern California this spring. I think I took this picture in San Antonio, waiting for the last leg of my trip to begin. It was over 30 hours, luckily I slept nearly the whole way. I might even have taken in the bathroom, I cannot recall. I can see in my face here how much I wanted to just finally get home. It was just time -- I was broke, exhausted and starting to bore myself. This is around 8 p.m. I remember thinking I'd still be in Texas 12 hours later. It's one big freakin' state that I for one have no intention of messin' with. What I like is that it's almost perfectly symetrical. I wasn't trying to get my reflection, I just suck at taking self portraits.II The second is a neon ad for Northwest Airlines in BB King's on Beale Street in Memphis. So crass, so commercial...all I could think was "Et tu, BB?" You can see me just a little bit to the right of the striped awning in the reflection.III I liked the slanted ceiling because it reminded me of San Francisco.
