adventures in reflective surfaces

Post-Perseid Reflection
We camped out to watch the Perseid meteor shower arc over Mt. Hood and play on the surface of the mirror-still Trillium Lake.
That night -- dreaming -- the tent top dissolved into a starlit sky.
We had to get up very early on Monday morning to make it back to Portland for work. I caught my reflection in the window of our borrowed red truck. I placed the sunrise behind me, fiddled with the f-stop and hoped it might come out.
