The basis for my love of photography has always been the belief that each photograph is a memory. I delight in looking at old pictures because each one carries a story and is a tangible part of my past. In today's more modern world film cameras and overstuffed scrapbooks are being replaced with digital cameras and on-line albums but the essence of the photograph still remains the same – each one captures a part of our life history.
